How We Do It
Two words: direct instruction.
Actually, this has been around for a long time. The Greeks invented it thousands of years ago but it has become lost in the sea of assembly-line education. What it means is that students need to master basic subject matter before moving on to more complex material. Like a house, the foundation must be solid or the framing won't hold up. We call it scaffolding and there is no better way to teach.
